Lior Zelcbuch

Lior Zelcbuch has worked in a variety of roles in the field of research and development since 2008. Lior began their career as a Cloning Specialist and Method Developer at Weizmann Institute of Science, where they obtained their MSc and PhD. During this time, they published three papers and several more are expected to be published in the future. In 2015, they became the Lead Scientist at PlantArcBio, where they developed two methods that are now under commercialization. In 2016, they joined MBcure Ltd. as a Senior Scientist and BiomX Ltd. as the Director of Synthetic Biology. In 2020, they became the Head of Research and Discovery at BiomX Inc., leading research programs with 15 employees and 2 managers, and performing phage isolation and characterization. Most recently, in 2022, they took on the role of VP R&D at Remilk.

Lior Zelcbuch obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Life Science from the Weizmann Institute of Science between 2008 and 2015.
