Michael Basanov has a long and varied work experience. Michael began their career in 1994 as an Officer, System Engineer and Project Manager at the Depot, Ordnance Corps in the Israel Defence Forces. In 1999, they became the COO at EFC, Software Solutions. Two years later, they were Projects Manager at Electra. In 2004, they held the roles of Head of Site Engineering, Maintenance & EHS at Jerusalem plant and Production Manager at Kfar Saba plant at Teva Pharmaceuticals. In 2012, they were appointed Director, Head of Engineering at Global OTC and Asia Operations at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. From 2014 to 2019, they were S. Director, R&D Operations and Engineering, at R&D headquarter at Teva Pharmaceuticals. In this role, they supported the execution of R&D production plans, monitored network production capacities, led all engineering aspects and Capex plans of R&D sites, created interface processes between the R&D and Operations, and managed CapEx and integration activities. Most recently, in 2022, they became Head Of Engineering at Remilk.
Michael Basanov attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Michael then returned to Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 1996 to 1999 and earned a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management, General. In 1999 and 2000, they attended IBM for R.T Embeded systems software programming. In 2005, they attended Tel Aviv University for Business Management for managers. In 2006, they attended Tel Aviv University for Situational Leadership and Miscellaneous Professional courses for Production of non-Sterile and Sterile technologies, Clean Media design and maintenance, EHS and GMP.
