Henning Bublies

Henning Bublies has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Henning is currently the Managing Director / COO at remind me GmbH, a position they took on in December 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Chief Operating Officer at the same company, starting in June 2022.

Before joining remind me GmbH, Henning worked at Flagship Founders as the Chief Venture Officer from March 2021 to June 2022. In this role, they were responsible for building innovative ventures for the maritime industry, mentoring and coaching founders, and creating structures for setting up ventures with a standardized framework and operating model. During their tenure, they successfully launched two new ventures, Tilla Technologies and another undisclosed venture.

From June 2018 to March 2021, Henning worked at Lufthansa Innovation Hub GmbH as the Director of Venture Development. Henning'sresponsibilities included leading teams, building digital ventures for the Lufthansa Group, portfolio management, and mentoring. Henning also played a key role in setting up a venture and IT development framework. Notable achievements include founding a cross-corporate financed venture meeting VC market investment standards, executing a crisis turnaround for reveneo within a quarter, and building compensaid, an airline agnostic sustainability platform that became the number one CO2 offsetting solution for Lufthansa Group.

Henning's earlier experiences include roles at Plinga GmbH, where they served as the Managing Director / CEO from February 2016 to June 2018 and as the Managing Director / COO from September 2014 to February 2016. Henning also worked as the Director of Product Management & Marketing from October 2013 to September 2014 and as the Head of End User Monetization from August 2012 to October 2013.

Prior to Plinga GmbH, they were a Product Manager at phenomedia publishing gmbh from January 2011 to December 2011.

Henning Bublies obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Communication and Media Management from the University of Europe for Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In 2010, they also briefly studied abroad at San Diego State University for one semester.
