Brandon Ely

Brandon Ely serves as the Global Head of Finance Internal Audit at Remitly, a role initiated in December 2020, where responsibilities include the establishment of the global Internal Audit function post-IPO, finance and regulatory compliance audits, and administrative management of a U.S.-based audit team. Prior experience encompasses the position of VP Head of Internal Audit at Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union, a Risk Assurance Manager role at PwC, and an Internal Audit Manager at Boeing, where oversight included significant SOX testing and management of auditors. Earlier roles at Sterling Savings Bank featured oversight of the SOX program and experience in risk management audits, while foundational work began at Wells Fargo Bank. Brandon Ely is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University, and holds an MBA from Eastern Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University.
