Mia Buffalini

Mia Buffalini serves as the Legal and Compliance Manager at Remitter, having previously held the position of Legal and Compliance Associate within the same organization since December 2022. Mia has extensive experience in advocacy against human trafficking, serving as an Ambassador for Stop the Demand Project from January 2021 to June 2024. Educationally, Mia holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Akron, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Sociology minor. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Assistant at The University of Akron, Legal Extern at Ginella Law and TrueAccord, Legal Analysis Reading and Writing Fellow at the University of Akron School of Law, and an internship at Summit County Domestic Relations Court.
