Nirodhini Siriwardana

Nirodhini Siriwardana has worked in a variety of roles in the biomolecular sciences and lead discovery field. Nirodhini began their career in 2004 as a Graduate Teaching Associate and Ph.D. candidate at The Ohio State University. In 2011, they moved to a Postdoctoral Associate role at the same institution. In 2012, they took a Postdoctoral Researcher role at Boston University School of Medicine. In 2015, they joined Merck as a Senior Scientist in the Pharmacology (Chemical Biology) department and a Biochemist III. In 2021, they were promoted to Associate Director, Biomolecular Sciences and Lead Discovery and Principal Scientist, Biomolecular Sciences and Lead Discovery at Remix Therapeutics.

Nirodhini Siriwardana received their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Honors in Botany from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2003. Nirodhini also took courses from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA- United Kingdom) in 1999 and 2000. In 2004, they began their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Plant Cellular and Molecular Biology at The Ohio State University and completed it in 2011.
