Jane Zhang, PhD/MBA has a wealth of experience in the healthcare and engineering industries. Jane began their career in 2005 as an Engineering Assistant at Baylis Medical. Jane then moved on to Boston University, where they served as a Graduate Research Fellow in Dr. Catherine Klapperich's and Dr. Irving Bigio's groups, focusing on low resource setting infectious diseases diagnostics and bio-optics. In 2011, they became a Senior Scientist at BD, where they worked on Biosense and Developing World Diagnostics. In 2013, they joined ZS as an Associate Consultant in Healthcare Business Technology, before founding Micro Analysis Integration in the same year. Jane then moved to ChromoLogic LLC, where they served as Principal Investigator and Project Leader for Medical Diagnostics. In 2016, they joined Amgen as a Senior Manager of Commercial Strategy & Insights. In 2018, they began working at the University of Washington Mechanical Engineering as an Affiliate Assistant Professor and Acting Assistant Professor. Most recently, in 2020, they founded Remmie Health, a next generation upper respiratory and ENT care data solutions company with telemedicine and machine learning.
Jane Zhang has a diverse education history. Jane obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto. Jane then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2020. Jane also holds a M.S. and Ph.D. from Boston University in Biomedical Engineering (low resource setting diagnostics and biomedical optics). Additionally, they have two certifications from PerkinElmer, Inc. and SAS Institute.
