Scott Rackey

Scott Rackey has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy sector. Scott is currently the Founder and CEO of ReMo Energy, Inc., a position they have held since December 2020. Prior to this, Scott worked at First Solar, where they held the position of Head of PV + Storage Development from October 2015 to April 2020. Scott also worked as an Independent Consultant in PV + Storage from March 2015 to September 2015.

Before joining First Solar, Scott was the VP of Business Development at GMZ Energy, where they commercialized low-cost, high-performance thermoelectric generators. Scott also founded Addmatter in 2013 and served as its Founder until September 2014. Additionally, Scott worked at Albion Systems as an Advisor from October 2013 to July 2014.

Scott has also held roles at Open Energy Group as a Senior Advisor from November 2013 to June 2014, at OsComp Systems as the VP of Business Development from April 2012 to March 2013, and at RockPort Capital Partners as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence from May 2011 to April 2012.

Prior to these positions, Scott founded and served as the President of FPGeneration, Inc. from April 2009 to August 2011. Scott also founded CTP Hydrogen and served as its President from July 2005 to October 2008.

Scott Rackey completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 1984 and 1988. Following this, they pursued an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School, which they obtained between 1992 and 1994.
