Jonas Franke

Jonas Franke has extensive experience in remote sensing and geography, currently serving as the Managing Director and Project Manager at Remote Sensing Solutions GmbH since November 2009. Prior to this role, Jonas held a Postdoctoral Researcher position at Bonn University's Center for Remote Sensing of Land Surfaces from October 2007 to September 2009, supported by a scholarship from the German Research Foundation. Additionally, Jonas was a Research Assistant at the Remote Sensing Research Group at Bonn University for a brief period in 2004. Jonas holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geography from The University of Bonn, obtained in 2007, and a Master of Science (MS) in Geography from the same institution, completed in 2004. A short-term scholarship was also pursued at UC Santa Barbara in 2007, focusing on the Department of Geography.
