Scott Burns has worked in a variety of roles since 1995. Scott started their career as the Director of Customer Relationship Management at dbIntellect Technologies (EDS). Scott then moved on to become the Sales Director at Productive Data Systems (PDS), where they reached their annual sales quota in under 6 months and exceeded delivery capacity by 6x in the first year. Following this, they served as the Vice President of Business Development and Alliances at MarketVision, where they developed value propositions, best practices, competitive strategies, proposals and other sales tools for selling new business. In 1999, they became the President and COO of GrantSeekers, where they took an online business model concept from idea to launch. Scott then joined The Knowledge Capital Group (KCG) as President and COO, and successfully led the company through the collapse of its primary market place by negotiating with creditors and reducing monthly expenses. In 2003, they became the VP of Operations and Client Services/Consultant at EggFusion, where they successfully led a laser marking technology and traceability services company to market from idea conceptualization. Scott then worked as a Consultant, Executive for Hire, and Sole Proprietor at Service Tribe, providing advisory services to corporate teams across a broad spectrum of business. In 2011, they became the Vice President of Information Technology at Goldline, LLC, where they were responsible for the governance, administration, development, implementation, maintenance and security of all information technology people processes and systems. In 2016, they became the Vice President of Operations, North America at MTI Dispatch, where they were responsible for the client support, implementation, technology development and sales teams responsible for all aspects of MTData client growth, on-boarding and support in North America. Finally, in 2018, they became the Chief Success Officer at RemoteLock, where they were responsible for operations, customer success, implementation management, support, enablement and dealer services.
Scott Burns received their Bachelor in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Technical Institute between 1982 and 1986. In 1988, they completed the EDS System Engineering Development Program. Scott then attended the EDS Telecommunications Professional Development Program in 1993. In 2002, they completed the Executive Coaching program at Solid Coaching U. Scott also attended the CIO Institute Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley and Sayreville War Memorial High School, but did not receive any degrees or certifications from either.
