Software Engineer at Remotion

Chantelle Chan has diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Chantelle is currently working as a Software Engineer at Remotion since June 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded Bandit Labs in May 2021 and served as a Co-Founder until June 2022.

Chantelle's previous roles include Fullstack Web Developer at The University of British Columbia from May 2018 to December 2019, where they contributed to the integration of frontend, backend, and API components of an application. Chantelle also assisted in application architecture design and planning.

Before that, Chantelle worked as a Full Stack Web Developer/Integration Lead at UBC Sailbot from February 2016 to May 2019. Chantelle developed software for sensor integration for an autonomous robotic sailboat and maintained the web GUI using angularjs and pug.

Additionally, Chantelle worked as a Full Stack Web Developer at The Nereus Program from December 2016 to September 2017. Chantelle'swork involved developing single page web apps to present data and findings from ocean research publications. Chantelle'swork was presented at the United Nations Oceans Conference 2017, and they extensively worked with AWS and the MEAN stack.

Chantelle's early work experience includes their role as a Raman Spectroscopy Researcher at the University of Victoria from June 2014 to August 2015. Chantelle was involved in designing hardware configuration and plotting biofilm data on various Raman spectrometers. The results of their work were published in the journal Analytical Chemistry.

Chantelle Chan has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Materials Engineering, with a specialization in BioMaterials, from The University of British Columbia. Chantelle completed their undergraduate education at an unspecified date before 2021.

Additionally, in 2020, Chantelle participated in the Venture for Canada 2020 Summer Internship Program, where they focused on Computer Software Engineering.

Chantelle also holds various certifications from LinkedIn. In September 2020, they obtained certifications in Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Neural Networks, Building Resilience as a Leader, and Learning GraphQL.
