Laura Bourdonnay is currently the Head of Investment at Removall Carbon, a company focused on developing and investing in carbon sequestration projects. Prior to this, they held various investment roles at PROPARCO, with experience in impact investments, private equity, and business development. Their educational background includes a Master's degree in Public Affairs from Sciences Po and a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from Audencia. Additionally, they have experience in fundraising for an NGO in Beirut and in business development at a local travel agency in Kathmandu.

Removall is a project developer designing and operating certified, high-integrity and high-impact carbon offset projects that contribute to achieving the Net Zero objective. Our diverse international team combines decades of experience in carbon finance with a track record of billions of Euros mobilized in ecological transition projects to create a unique dual expertise in the marketplace. As an engaged participant in the voluntary carbon market, we strive daily to push the market towards greater impact and transparency by only supporting projects that have real, measurable co-benefits and equitable profit-sharing. For this reason, we focus on financing projects in emerging markets where carbon-based capital flows help address the significant development gap and disproportionate burden borne by local populations. We believe that carbon finance, when utilized with integrity and deployed intelligently, can be a powerful force in the fight for global climate goals, as well as for the protection and regeneration of the world’s most valuable asset: the environment. To go beyond carbon, our team also works on developing innovative environmental assets solutions, with a focus on plastic credits and biodiversity certificates.
