Ian Jackson

Ian Jackson is a Principal Systems Administrator at the REN-ISAC. He’s has 18 years’ experience as a systems administrator, primarily in the higher education sector. Prior to being a sysadmin, Ian had experience in web development, particularly in architecting high availability web hosting for MacMillan & Pearson e-learning systems as well as web, streaming media platforms for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. His skillset also includes Amazon Web Services and software as a service (SaaS). He has a degree in computer science.

Ian is an Army veteran and former paratrooper where he served as a Tactical Communications Non-Commissioned Officer.
