Cait Loury, Ed.D. has a varied and extensive work experience in the field of education. Cait started their career at Hillsborough County Public Schools in 2008, where they worked as an Elementary School Teacher until 2013. During their time there, they also served as an Instructional Literacy Coach. In 2014, they moved to Renaissance Academy Charter School of the Arts, where they held multiple leadership positions. Cait started as a Literacy Specialist and later became the Director of Elementary Education. From 2019 to 2020, they served as the Chief of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment, and from 2020 to 2022, they were the Principal. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Educational Officer at Renaissance Academy Charter School of the Arts.

Cait Loury, Ed.D. completed their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Rochester, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Before that, they obtained a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in ESOL and Reading from the University of Florida, from 2007 to 2008. Cait also completed their Bachelor's degree in Childhood Education, Special Education, and Spanish at SUNY Geneseo, from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their degrees, Cait Loury has obtained several certifications. Cait received the certifications for School Building Leader and School District Leader from the New York State Education Department in January 2017. Cait also holds a Literacy (Birth-6) certification from the New York State Education Department, obtained in August 2014. Cait'sFlorida Department of Education certifications include Elementary Education (K-6), Exceptional Student Education (K-12), ESOL (K-12), and Reading, which they obtained in June 2008. Furthermore, they acquired certifications in Childhood Education (1-6) and Students with Disabilities (1-6) from the New York State Education Department in September 2007.
