Marcus Tartt is the current Center Director of the Renaissance Bayview at Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center. Marcus has over 25 years of experience in real estate development and property management.

Marcus Tartt began their career in 1987 as a Program Supervisor at the San Francisco Boy's Home. Marcus then transitioned to the Alameda Housing Authority in 1992, where they helped low-income families secure housing through the federal Section 8 Housing Voucher Program. In 1999, Marcus Tartt became a Senior Project Manager for the Pinole Redevelopment Agency, where they helped to implement the city's Economic Development Strategy Plan.

In 2007, Marcus Tartt established their own Real Estate Development & Property Management company, The Community Developer. The company specialized in increasing the value of under performing commercial property in East Oakland, CA. Marcus Tartt successfully ran The Community Developer until 2012 when they took on their current role as Center Director of the Renaissance Bayview at Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center.

Marcus Tartt completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Davis.
