Jason Way

Research Director at Renaissance Learning

Jason Way has an extensive work experience spanning over 15 years. Jason is currently working as a Research Director at Renaissance Learning since 2022. Previously, they worked at ACT for almost a decade, first as a Research Psychologist and later as a Senior Research Psychologist. At ACT, they focused on research and assessment development related to non-cognitive skills and provided consulting services on issues related to DEI and selection. Before joining ACT, they worked as an Associate Consultant at SHL/CEB Valtera. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Associate at RAND Corporation, where they contributed to a policy analysis project. Jason also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of South Florida for four years, where they taught psychology courses and mentored students. Jason was also a NREIP Intern at the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, where they worked on training research for the Navy. Prior to that, they had a role in Business Development at Arthur Wilbur Co.

Jason Way holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida. Jason also earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the same institution. In addition, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of Rochester.
