Julie Hassan

Julie Hassan is an accomplished insurance professional with extensive experience in property and reinsurance. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of US Other Property, Non-Cat at RenaissanceRe since January 2021, Julie previously held the position of Managing Director and Head of Property Pro Rata and Per Risk at Markel from December 2002 to December 2020. Julie's career began at Constitution Reinsurance, followed by roles at Gerling Global Reinsurance Co. and AXA Global Re, where responsibilities included treaty underwriting. Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Columbia University.
