Thomas Cox

Thomas Cox is an experienced insurance professional with over 20 years in the industry. Currently serving as the Head of Casualty Insurance at RenaissanceRe since December 2011, Thomas leads a team responsible for various casualty insurance lines, including E&O, D&O, TL, Cyber, and GL. Previously, Thomas worked as a Senior Casualty Underwriter at Brit Insurance from February 2007 to December 2011, where the focus was on North American E&O, including a strategic assignment in the USA. Earlier experience includes a role as a Casualty Reinsurance Broker at Aon from September 2003 to February 2007, handling in-house and third-party MGA businesses and a general casualty lines treaty book. Educational qualifications include a BA in Geography from Durham University and designation as a Chartered Insurer (ACII) from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
