Tom Dean has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Tom is currently the President & CEO of Renaissant, where they focus on addressing global supply chain inefficiencies. Prior to this, Tom was an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, designing and teaching courses on economics and accounting income. Tom also served as the Founder and CIO of Annapurna Investment Management, providing tailored investment programs for high net worth clients. Earlier in their career, Tom worked as an Analyst and Trader at Stark Investments, utilizing fundamental research and empirical asset pricing strategies. Tom also held leadership positions at Aquila, Inc., leading acquisition transactions and business turnarounds, and at Digital Lighthouse Corp as the Chief Financial Officer, overseeing successful investments and business sale. Tom began their career at Ernst & Young, where they worked in audit and transaction services.
Tom Dean earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting & Finance from Kansas State University, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Analytic Finance at the University of Chicago, from 2005 to 2007.
