Greg Schallert is currently working as a Product Manager, Digital Health Solutions at Renalytix, a company that develops artificial intelligence-enabled clinical diagnostic solutions for kidney disease. In this role, they are responsible for the KidneyIntelX diagnostic tool, which assesses a patient's risk-level for progressive kidney function decline. Greg also has extensive experience at Dawning Technologies, Inc., where they held various roles. From 2006 to 2013, they were an Engineering Manager, overseeing multiple software and hardware products and teams. Greg managed the call center, IT infrastructure, and technical support teams, while also leading hardware/software research and development for flagship medical device software. From 2005 to 2006, Greg served as the Software Development & Support Manager, focusing on formal test and release procedures and implementing connectivity solutions. Greg started at Dawning Technologies, Inc. in 2000 as a Sr. Software Design Engineer, designing and developing medical instrument interfaces.
At the beginning of their career, Greg worked as a Software Test Engineer at Xerox from 1998 to 2000, where they designed and implemented test plans for high-end office network printers.
Before entering the technology industry, Greg had management positions in various companies from 1994 to 1998.
Greg Schallert holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, which they obtained in 2005. Greg later pursued further education and earned a Master of Science in Administration (MSA) degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of West Florida between 2012 and 2016. In addition to their formal education, Greg has also obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2021.
