Felipe Villela

Co-founder & Chief Impact Officer at reNature

Felipe Villela's work experience includes co-founding and serving as the Chief Impact Officer at reNature since May 2019, as well as being a Foundation Board Member since January 2018. Felipe is also currently employed as a Regenerative Agriculture Adviser at UN Environment Programme since May 2020 and is a member of the UN Food Systems Summit. In 2022, Felipe joined LinkedIn as a Climate & Sustainability Creator and became an Ambassador at the Food and Land Use Coalition. Felipe will be joining Mãe Terra Produtos Naturais e Orgânicos as a member of the Regenerative Advisory Board in March 2023.

Felipe Villela's education history is as follows:

From 2020 to 2020, Felipe attended THNK School of Leadership and completed the Emerging Leaders Program, focusing on Organizational Leadership.

Between 2015 and 2019, Felipe studied at HAS green academy and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in International Food & Sustainable AgriBusiness.

In 2017 and 2018, Felipe pursued a minor in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture at Universidade Federal de Viçosa.

From 2011 to 2015, Felipe attended Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Production Engineering.

During their high school years, from 2006 to 2011, Felipe studied at Colégio Farroupilha.

Prior to high school, from 2000 to 2006, Felipe attended Colegio Visconde de Porto Seguro.

In addition to their formal education, Felipe has also obtained several certifications. In October 2022, they became an MIT Solver through Solve - MIT. In January 2021, they received the ForbesUnder30 certification from Forbes. In November 2018, Felipe became a Keynote Speaker through TEDxAmsterdam, and in July 2018, they became an Ambassador for Thought For Food.
