Benoit Lombard

Benoit Lombard has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Benoit started their career at Delphi in 2000, where they served as the Head of Engineering group(s) until 2004. In 2005, Lombard joined Volvo Group Trucks Technology, where they held several roles, including Performance Engineer and Chief Project Manager. During their time at Volvo, they were responsible for various projects related to combustion and simulation. In 2019, Lombard joined Renault Trucks as the Product Manager for all vehicle ranges in France. Benoit currently holds the position of Product Director at Renault Trucks.

Benoit Lombard has a diverse education history. Benoit started their academic journey in 1995 at ISAE-SUPAERO where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Aerospace Engineering. From 1997 to 1998, they pursued a Diplom-Engineer degree at RWTH Aachen University. In 1998, they attended IFP School and completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Powertrain Engineering.

Benoit continued their education at IFP School - IFP Training, where they became an Associate Professor specializing in Diesel Combustion and Heavy Duty Engines. This position lasted from 2006 to 2018.
