Eduardo Borio

Eduardo Borio has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Eduardo started their career at Pacific Financial Corporation as a Financial Controller from 1998 to 2000. Then, they moved to AMERICA LATINA LOGISTICA and worked there as a Financial Controller from 2001 to 2004. Following that, they joined Volvo Trucks as a Senior Business Controller for the Latin America region from 2004 to 2010, where they successfully guided the business through detailed analysis and supported sustainable growth.

After that, Borio joined Volvo Construction Equipment in various roles. Eduardo served as the Global Director Finance and Business Control Services from 2013 to 2016, where they successfully implemented a strategic plan and streamlined the ordering and invoicing process. Eduardo then took the position of Vice President Finance and Business Control China from 2016 to 2020, leading a finance and accounting organization and executing strategic projects that positively impacted the business model and performance.

Later, Borio became the Vice President Finance and Commercial Management for Asia and China from 2020 to 2020, where they successfully executed a re-organization, streamlined processes, and improved financial performance. Their most recent role was as the Vice President and Chief Controller for Renault Trucks Sales Europe, starting in 2023.

Throughout their career, Borio has consistently demonstrated strong financial expertise, strategic planning, and leadership skills, contributing to the success and growth of the companies they have worked for.

Eduardo Borio attended Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering. From 1998 to 1999, they pursued a Specialization in Finance at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2001, they enrolled in FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, completing an MBA in Finance in 2002.
