Raul Sosa san Frutos

Raul Sosa San Frutos is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as a Software Development, Integration, and Test Engineering Leader at Renault Group, focusing on software development for Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and automated driving since January 2024. Previously, Raul worked as a Project Manager at Hovering Solutions, overseeing software development for autonomous navigation in challenging environments. With a strong background as a Software Engineer at Akka Technologies, Raul contributed to the Wideye project for smart glass in autonomous vehicles and played a key role in developing navigation features for Renault's autonomous vehicle. Prior experience includes research and development of multi-rotor platforms at Grupo Copisa and work on autonomous aerial systems at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Raul holds a Master's degree in Robotics and Automation from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Loughborough University.
