The Renco Group of New York City is a diversified holding company with interests in mining, metal production, material handling and other business. Among its subsidiaries are Doe Run Resources, US Magnesium and Unarco Material Handling. In 2008, Renco closed on the purchase of Delphi's automotive interior and closures business. In March 2011 Renco purchased three iron and steel mills from Severstal, the Russian steel and mining company. That company, RG Steel, filed for bankruptcy in 2012 and has sold off its assets. The Renco Group owns a 30% stake in defense contractor AM General, maker of the military's all-terrain vehicle the Humvee. Forbes does not include revenues for AM General in its sales estimate for the Renco Group.
