Joshua Barnett, AIA has extensive work experience in the field of architecture and design. Starting in 2007, they worked as an Architectural Technician at OWPR, Inc for two years. From 2009 to 2011, they served as a BIM Specialist at Architectural Engineers, Inc.
In 2011, Barnett joined Finegold Alexander Architects as a Project Architect, where they worked until 2013. Joshua then moved to Tsoi Kobus Design and worked as a Project Architect for a year.
From 2014 to 2021, Barnett worked at CannonDesign, starting as a Project Architect and progressing to Associate, Senior Associate, and eventually, Associate Vice President. Throughout their tenure, they played a key role in various architectural projects.
In 2016, they began serving on the Land Use Board for the Borough Of Shrewsbury. Joshua used their expertise to contribute to the board's decision-making processes and land use planning.
Currently, Barnett holds the position of Vice President, Design & Development at Rendina Healthcare Real Estate, where they oversee the design and development of healthcare real estate projects. This role showcases their leadership abilities and deep understanding of the healthcare industry.
Joshua Barnett, AIA has a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree from the Boston Architectural College. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Architecture Technology from New River Community College. Additionally, Joshua has certifications from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is licensed as an architect in both New Jersey and New York.
