Susan Alban

Susan Alban has over 10 years of experience in various roles in the tech industry. In 2011, they began their career as a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company. Susan then joined eBay in 2012 as a Group Product Manager. In 2015, they became the General Manager of UberEATS and UberRUSH in San Francisco and Northern California, where they grew the businesses to $100M+ and the team to 40+ people. In 2017, they became the VP Talent & People Ops at Zume Inc., where they were in leadership roles during its growth from ~30 employees to 500+. In 2019, they became an Advisor for Pana, Veho, and Self, where they focused on board and executive compensation, equity-based compensation, fair pay, venture-backed company HR, and beyond. Susan was also a published writer, speaker, and expert, and was quoted in Business Insider, Protocol and others. In 2020, they became an Operating Partner and Chief People Officer at Renegade Partners and an Advisor at Level and Sudozi.

Susan Alban attended Duke University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned an AB in Economics with a Minor in Japanese. Susan then attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2009 to 2011, where they earned an MBA.
