Brian Harvey

Brian Harvey has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Brian started their career as an Engineer Mechanical at De Beers South Africa in 1996. After that, they worked as a Trainee Accountant at Ernst & Young from 2002 to 2005. Brian then joined Anglo American, where they worked in Corporate Finance from 2005 to 2007. Following this, they worked at Bokoni Platinum Mines Pty Ltd as a Senior Manager Finance Operations from 2007 to 2012. Brian later became the Finance Director at Lake International from 2012 to 2014 and Finance Director at Royal Bafokeng Holdings from 2014 to 2016. Brian then became the Group Chief Financial Officer at MOGS from 2016 to 2019. Subsequently, they worked as a Regional Finance Director at Weir Minerals Africa and Middle East from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at Resource Generation Limited since 2020 and has recently joined Renergen Limited as their Chief Financial Officer in 2021.

Brian Harvey attended the University of Johannesburg from 2000 to 2001, where they pursued a BComm Honours in Accounting. After that, they attended the University of Cape Town to earn a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Additionally, they completed a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Johannesburg.
