Akhil Menon

Akhil Menon is a seasoned Principal Digital Design Engineer at Renesas Electronics since June 2022, with prior experience as a Digital Design Engineer at Intel Corporation from December 2013 to May 2022. At Intel, Akhil contributed to verification of PROM Fuse design, developed UVM test benches, and mentored junior team members. Recognized as the primary point of contact in Bangalore for Fuse design and verification, Akhil utilized various tools including VCLP, SpyGlass Lint, and SpyGlass CDC, and gained experience in Post-Silicon debug. Earlier roles at Intel included serving as a Design Automation Engineer, where Akhil developed a QA tool for memory compiler teams, as well as a Graduate Intern focusing on Pre-Silicon validation. Akhil holds an MTech in VLSI Design from Vellore Institute of Technology and a BTech in Electronics and Communication from MES College of Engineering.
