David Dye

David Dye is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in test engineering and validation across multiple industries, including electronics and renewable energy. Currently serving as a Principal Test Engineer at Renesas Electronics since November 2021, David previously held the same title at Dialog Semiconductor, where a significant achievement involved developing an audio codec test solution that achieved approximately 99% yield. Prior to that, David's roles included lead engineer for test program development at NGenTec, where testing of a 1MW prototype was completed, and at Wolfson Microelectronics PLC, where David successfully developed the company's first MEMS microphones test solution. Earlier experiences encompass senior roles at Intel, W. L. Gore & Associates, and as a Microwave Engineer at 3C Scotland Limited, along with foundational work as an Electronic Technician in the Royal Air Force. David holds an MSc in Medical Imaging from The University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Physics from the University of Dundee.
