Michael Carmody is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Principal Assembly Engineer at Renesas Electronics since September 2016. Previously, Michael held the position of Principal Product Engineer/Manager at Intersil from 2007, with a focus on high reliability automotive products, and has also worked in various managerial capacities including Director of Operations at WiDeFi and Director of Product Development at Controlled Semiconductor. Michael's earlier roles at Intersil included managing offshore test operations and leading product engineering efforts. Starting his career at Harris Corporation and Harris Semiconductor, Michael developed analog mixed signal ICs for military and aerospace applications. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology from The University of Akron.
