Tony Lai

Tony Lai is an experienced professional in power electronics and marketing, currently serving as the Director of AC/DC Products at Renesas Electronics since December 2018. Previously, Tony held the position of Director of Strategic Marketing at Richtek Technology Corporation from December 2011 to December 2018, and served as Business Director at Maxim Integrated Products, where responsibilities included business management of power products and market opportunity identification in Asia. Prior roles include Manager of Business Development at Siliconix, Vishay, Applications Engineer in Europe, Power Supply Designer at NMB-Minebea UK, and R&D Engineer at Tunewell Transformers. Tony Lai holds an MSc in Power Electronics from King's College London, an MBA in Marketing and a BEng in Electrical Engineering from Middlesex University, as well as a Higher Certificate in Electronic Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
