Todd Ellis

For more than 18 years, Todd Ellis has been a leader in sustainable business development for leading biofuels companies. Mr. Ellis oversees North American strategic planning and sales management for the wholesale and downstream, emerging channel, and co-products sales teams along with the operations services and customer support for Renewable Energy Group, Inc. (REG).

Mr. Ellis has been instrumental in many facets of the biofuels value chain including sales and marketing, project development, mergers and acquisitions, biodiesel market expansion, public policy initiatives, strategic business development, regulatory affairs, risk management, customer service and educational outreach. Mr. Ellis has worked with federal, state, and provincial policy makers on a range of issues affecting biofuels policies and market incentives, creating strong market demand for biomass-based diesel.

Mr. Ellis currently serves as Vice Chairman for Advanced Biofuels Canada. He previously served as Board Chairman for the Low Carbon Fuels Coalition and Governing Board member and Chairman of the Technical Committee for the Clean Fuels Alliance America.

Mr. Ellis holds an Executive M.B.A from the University of Iowa, a M.A. from Antioch University and B.A from Fort Lewis College. Mr. Ellis enjoys spending his free time in the mountains, rivers, oceans and bike trails throughout the US with his wife and three daughters.
