Agustin Bertossa

Principal Foundation Engineer at Renewable Energy Systems

Agustin Bertossa has a diverse range of work experience. Agustin started their career as a Graduate Engineer at Sfriso & Verri Asociados from 2001 to 2003. Agustin then worked as a Structural Engineer at Matthew Consultants from July 2004 to October 2004, and at Buro Happold from November 2004 to September 2005. Following this, they joined Atkins as a Civil Engineer from October 2005 to July 2011.

Since 2011, Agustin has been with RES (Renewable Energy Systems Ltd). Agustin initially served as a Foundation Engineer, specializing in offshore wind farm development. Agustin contributed to projects such as the St Brieuc Offshore Wind Farm and the West of Duddon Sands Offshore Wind Farm. In August 2015, they were promoted to the role of Principal Foundation Engineer. In this position, they took on responsibilities like SI management and foundation design for the St Brieuc Offshore Wind Farm, as well as acting as the Owner's engineer for the Hexicon Floating System as part of the Dounreay Tri project.

Agustin Bertossa received their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires. Agustin attended from 1994 to 2002. Later on, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Soil Mechanics at Imperial College London, which they completed from 2008 to 2010.
