Alisha Jiwa

Alisha Jiwa has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Alisha most recently worked as an Analyst at RES starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Receptionist at Student Castle from September 2020 to June 2022. Alisha has also gained valuable experience as a Residential Advisor at the University of Leicester from September 2017 to September 2020, where they organized student events and led cooking sessions. Alisha worked as a Seasonal Crew Member at McDonald's during the same period. Alisha also has intern experience as an Engineering Intern Student at Century 3 (Shanghai) Inc. in July and August 2018, where they attended meetings, carried out site visits, and developed presentations. Before that, they worked as a Sales Consultant at Carphone Warehouse from August 2015 to May 2016, where they dealt with customer complaints and contributed to sales performance. Alisha gained engineering-based work experience at Alstom in July and August 2014, where they worked with circuit boards and software. Alisha started their professional journey as a Sales Assistant at Sports Direct from June 2013 to February 2014, where they operated tills, served customers, and maintained a tidy shop floor.

Alisha Jiwa completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leicester from 2016 to 2020. Following that, they pursued further education at the University of Oxford, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Energy Systems from 2020 to 2021. Their field of study throughout their education has primarily been focused on Engineering Science.
