Chris Burden

Chris Burden is an experienced Cyber Security Architect currently working at RES since April 2021. Previously, Chris held the position of Head of Security at Cloud Gateway from November 2018 to April 2021 and served as the Cyber Security and Network Architecture Lead at UK Power Networks from August 2012 to November 2018. Prior roles include Principal Security Engineer at Cable & Wireless, Network Solutions Designer at Progressive Networks LTD, Infrastructure Design Leader at TXU-Europe/Powergen, and I.T Infrastructure Project Coordinator at Eastern Group/TXU-Europe. Chris’s diverse background encompasses security and e-Commerce support for FTSE100 companies, network design and implementation, and technical project management, establishing a strong foundation in cyber security and network architecture.
