Chris Sweetman

Chris Sweetman has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry. Chris started their career as an Audit Manager at KPMG from 1998 to 2002. Chris then moved on to various roles at RES, including Commercial Manager & Financial Manager for generation companies from 2003 to 2008. Chris served as the Chief Operating Officer for Australia and New Zealand wind farm development team from 2008 to 2011. Chris subsequently became the Finance Manager for RES Offshore, managing finances for the UK-based offshore wind business from 2011 to 2013. From 2013 to 2020, Chris worked as the TRIG Operations Manager, overseeing the portfolio for TRIG Ltd, which is listed on the FTSE 250. Chris is currently serving as the TRIG Operations Director, responsible for the operating renewables portfolio and providing reporting to the non-exec board.

Chris Sweetman attended Brunel University London from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Lewes Tertiary College where they completed A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and English.
