Gerardo Krutzfeldt has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Gerardo started their career as an Engineer in Training at PBS&J in 2005 and then moved on to Othon Consulting Engineers, where they worked as an Engineer in Training and assisted in the design of water transmission lines and storm-sewers for the Municipality of Houston. Gerardo also prepared Preliminary Engineering Reports and performed cost and quantity estimation.
In 2007, Gerardo joined Odebrecht - Libya Branch as a Site Engineer, responsible for asphalt and earthwork related activities. Gerardo then became an Industrial Site Engineer, managing various projects, and stayed with the company until 2010.
From 2010 to 2012, Gerardo worked as a Masters Student at Delft University of Technology, focusing on their studies.
Gerardo then joined Royal HaskoningDHV as a Graduate MSc Intern, where they gained experience in their field. After that, they worked at Odebrecht from 2013 to 2015 as a Production Engineer, responsible for overseeing production activities.
In 2016, Gerardo returned to Odebrecht as an Infrastructure Specialist, staying with the company until 2019.
In 2017, they took on the role of Project Manager at Odebrecht, managing the Pongo-Estrellani Aqueduct project in Bolivia. Gerardo was responsible for planning, directing, and organizing the project's execution within budget and time. Gerardo also implemented execution procedures and conducted preliminary risk analyses.
Gerardo then joined RES in 2019, initially working as a Senior Project Engineer for the High Lonesome Wind Project in Texas. Gerardo prepared monthly invoices for clients and reviewed/approved subcontractors' invoices.
In 2020, Gerardo transitioned to the role of Assistant Project Manager for the Maverick Creek Wind Project, the largest wind project for RES at the time. Gerardo managed subcontractors, identifying and mitigating potential risk exposure and cost overruns.
Most recently, in October 2021, Gerardo became a Project Manager at RES, where their responsibilities include overseeing projects and ensuring their successful completion.
Gerardo Krutzfeldt completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University from 2000 to 2004. Gerardo later pursued their Masters in Science degree in Construction Management and Engineering at Delft University of Technology, where they attended from 2010 to 2012.
