Ian Hunter

Ian Hunter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in asset management within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as the Global Head of Asset Management at RES since January 2007, Ian leads a team across seven countries to optimize client projects in wind, solar, and battery storage technologies. Ian has held various leadership roles, including Operations Director and Managing Director of Support Services for UK and Ireland, overseeing services such as asset management, O&M, and project sales. Additionally, Ian has played a significant role in commercial development as the Commercial Director for UK and Ireland and is a Board Member at RenewableUK since June 2020. Ian holds an MBA from The Open University and a Master's Degree in Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
