Mike Whitbread

Mike Whitbread started their work experience in 1999 as a Design & Hydraulics Engineer at ABB. Mike then joined RES Group in 2002 as a CAD & Infrastructure Design Manager, where they provided project engineering and CAD support for wind farm development and construction in various countries. In 2012, Mike became a Senior Development Manager at RES (Renewable Energy Systems Ltd), responsible for project development, landowner relationship management, and statutory consultee liaison. Mike also had a secondment to RES Japan during this time. In 2016, they transitioned to the role of PV Development Project Manager at RES Australia Pty Ltd. In 2018, Mike became the Solar Development Team Manager at Res Australia, managing the solar development team. In 2020, they were promoted to Head of Solar and Storage Development at RES in Australia Pty Ltd. Currently, Mike is working as the Strategic Head of Project Delivery at RES, starting in 2022.
