Sara Fitzgerald has extensive work experience in project management and IT roles. Sara worked as an IT Project Manager at RES from February 2019, where they led global projects focused on digitizing and standardizing business systems and processes. At Procter & Gamble, Sara held various roles from July 2013 to February 2019. Sara served as a Senior IT Programme & Project Manager - Financial Systems, leading a team of 15 people and overseeing a complex SAP system upgrade. Sara also acted as a UX specialist, leading a successful UX improvement project for the company's largest intranet site. Additionally, Sara led the implementation of a new self-service employee data portal and the overhaul of a content management system for P&G's largest employee intranet site. Before joining P&G, they worked as a Talent Intelligence Analyst (Intern) at Centrica from June 2012 to September 2012.

Sara Fitzgerald completed their education at the University of Strathclyde from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Management Science and Business Technology. Prior to that, they attended Williamwood High School from 2003 to 2009, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Sara has also obtained several certifications.
