Sarah McArthur

Development Project Manager at Renewable Energy Systems

Sarah McArthur has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2018, they worked as a Summer Intern at SLR Consulting, where they gained insights into environmental and social impact assessments for wind farm developments. Sarah then joined ITPEnergised in 2020 as a Graduate Consultant, assisting on project work and field studies in the Environmental Planning team. In 2021, they became a Board Trustee at the 2050 Climate Group, working on establishing the direction and strategy of the charity. Sarah also joined RES in 2022 as a Development Project Manager, overseeing projects, managing stakeholders and securing planning consent. In all their roles, they demonstrated strong project management skills and a focus on environmental sustainability.

Sarah McArthur pursued their education with a Bachelor's and Master's degree from The University of Edinburgh. From 2015 to 2019, they completed their Master of Arts (MA) in Geography. Following this, they furthered their studies from 2019 to 2020, obtaining a Master's degree in Energy, Society, and Sustainability from the same institution. Additionally, in November 2020, they obtained an Associate Member certification from IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment).
