Scott Secrest has a diverse work experience in the engineering industry. Scott is currently working as the Director of Electrical Engineering, Americas at RES since April 2021. Prior to this, they were the Principal at Scott R. Secrest, PE from April 2020 onwards, where they provided design and consulting services to the renewable and electric power industry. Additionally, they served as the President at Sage Engineering Services from September 1995 to November 2001. Before that, they worked as an Associate at R.W. Beck from September 1988 to September 1995.

Scott began their career as an Engineer at McGraw-Edison in 1981. Overall, their extensive experience spans across various roles and companies, allowing him to gain expertise and contribute to the engineering industry.

Scott Secrest obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electric Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In terms of certifications, Scott Secrest obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the NYS Education Department in November 1996, from the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Professional Engineers in June 1986, from the Maine Board of Professional Licensure in June 2010, and from the Connecticut State Department of Consumer Protection in January 2006.
