Diane Brandt

Diane Brandt is a skilled policy and legislative affairs professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as the Policy and Legislative Affairs Director at Renewable Northwest since March 2021, Diane has held multiple leadership roles, including Markets & Transmission Director and Oregon State Director. Prior experience includes a position as a Public Policy Graduate Student at Oregon State University, where Diane focused on energy and environmental issues, and roles as a Substitute Teacher and Contract Training Consultant. With a background as a U.S. Department of State diplomat from 2006 to 2018, Diane has significant expertise in public and political affairs. Education includes a Master's degree in Public Policy from Oregon State University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Zoology and Spanish from the University of Washington.
