Dr. Stefanie Strong received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. She received her Doctorate of Philosophy in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University in 2018.
She served in the United States Army and Oklahoma Army National Guard from 1999 to 2011. She has spent her career working with adults and adolescents in both residential and outpatient settings providing treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders for the last 8 years. She and her family moved to Southern Utah, and Dr. Strong joined Renewed Hope Ranch in June of 2019.
In her work as a therapist, Dr. Strong has specialized in treating substance use disorders and the associated mental health and familial problems associated with addiction. Dr. Strong is currently licensed as a Licensed Substance Use Disorder Counselor in the State of Utah, and as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor Supervisor in the State of Oklahoma.
Dr. Strong enjoys spending time with her family, painting, spending time outdoors, and traveling. Dr. Strong also spends time working to connect with other veterans.
