Sean Calahan

Sean Calahan has worked in the engineering field since 2012. Sean began at Exide Technologies in that year, where they served as a Lead Process Engineer and Process Engineer. In this role, they provided engineering support for the Exide NA manufacturing plants and became the subject matter expert for one of their manufacturing processes. Sean'sresponsibilities included developing, editing, and validating process specifications and FMEA's, collecting and analyzing data to assess process capabilities and optimize process parameters, process optimization using statistical analysis and six sigma principles, scrap and downtime reduction via root cause analysis, validation of new processes or products in the manufacturing environment, and project management. In 2015, they moved to Renmatix, where they took on the roles of Lead Process Engineer and Process Engineer.

Sean Calahan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012. Sean later obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from SBTI in September 2014.
