Peter Althausen MD MBA is an established Orthopaedic Traumatologist at Reno Orthopaedic Clinic since 2006, and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine since 2007. In addition, Peter holds the position of Director of Acute Orthopaedic Surgical Services at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center and has been the Director of Orthopaedic Trauma at Renown Health since 2017. Peter contributes to the field as a reviewer for the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma and JAAOS, and also serves as Chairman of The Orthopaedic Implant Company. Educational background includes an MD/MBA from Tufts University School of Medicine and University of California, Davis, along with a BA in English from Dartmouth College.
