Art Jimenez has extensive experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. Art began their career as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Wet'n Wild Water Parks and Universal Studios in 1986, where they managed all sales and marketing efforts for a prominent water park on the Las Vegas Strip. During their time there, Jimenez developed marketing protocols for various business units across multiple locations.
In 1999, Jimenez joined the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) as the Senior Director of Leisure Sales. In this role, they were responsible for managing all activities related to domestic leisure sales, including wholesale, consortia, retail, training, and airline sales. Additionally, they held various positions within the Las Vegas Hospitality Association, including serving as President from 1997 to 1998. Jimenez worked at LVCVA until 2016.
From 2016 to 2017, Jimenez served as the Vice President of Marketing at Travel Leaders Group. Following this, they became the Executive Director of Tourism Sales at the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority in 2017.

Art Jimenez completed a Management Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 1987 to 1989. Prior to that, from 1979 to 1985, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a focus on public relations, marketing, promotions, and advertising.
