Nicola Palestra

Nicola Palestra has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently specializing in Energy Efficiency at Renovit since January 2019. Previous roles include developing and selling B2B energy solutions at E.ON from January to December 2018, and serving as Energy Efficiency Manager at Electra Italia SpA from December 2013 to December 2017, where the BKW energy efficiency business was initiated and managed. Earlier positions at E.ON involved business development, R&D of energy solutions, and project development in combined heat and power (CHP), solar photovoltaic (PV), and waste heat recovery (WHR) systems. Nicola began the professional journey as a Project Engineer at Dalmine Energie and undertook a Ph.D. in energy at Università degli Studi di Bergamo, combining research with teaching responsibilities. Academic foundations were built with a Master's Degree in Engineering and a High School Diploma in Physical Sciences from the same institution.
