Arash Mohtashamian

Arash Mohtashamian, M.D., USN(Ret.), is a seasoned pathologist and hematopathologist with extensive experience in both clinical and administrative roles. Currently serving at Renown Health, responsibilities include diagnostic interpretation of hematologic specimens and assisting the Laboratory Director. Previously, Mohtashamian held key positions at Genomic Testing Cooperative and Quest Diagnostics, focusing on the diagnostic interpretation of various assays for hematologic malignancies. During a distinguished 26-year military career in the US Navy, Mohtashamian served as a pathologist and pathology specialty advisor, managing a global team and overseeing laboratory operations with significant budgetary responsibilities. Academic contributions include directing a pathology residency program and extensive involvement in teaching and quality improvement initiatives. Mohtashamian's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin and advanced training in hematopathology and pathology residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
